Mission Statement

The SMoCC provides an analytical service for routine structure analysis as well as facilities for tackling difficult non-standard problems, including organizing beam-time at synchrotron- or neutron beam-lines. We contribute to the education of students in crystallography by teaching and by providing a direct access to the instruments. State-of-the-art crystallographic research to ensure international recognition is regarded as a major aim of the departmental technology platform. We will establish projects with external research groups and collaborations with companies.
